Le Grand Concours - National French Contest
For nearly twenty years, French for Fun students participated in the National French contest, Le Grand Concours for FLES, sponsored by the AATF, the American Association of French Teachers. Year after year, our French for Fun students placed within the top five nationwide.
Recently, we have not entered the contest, due to the expected changes which ocurred within our local chapter. Some of its best advocates retired and are still missed. We remain grateful to them, especially Elizabeth Miller who made the Grand Concours such a wonderful and important part of our program each spring.
We still proudly display our very special plaques and letters of recognition and hope to take part in the Grand Concours soon.
