Madame Jolivet-Johnson is the
owner of FRENCHFORFUN and a native of France. She
holds a credential in languages and world history at the secondary
level. She has been teaching for 25 years and participated in many
institutes focusing on the teaching of languages at the elementary
level. She is a member of numerous foreign language associations
and has conducted seminars nationwide. She is recognized as one
of the most experienced FLES* (Foreign
Language at the Elementary School) teachers in the United States. |

Mademoiselle Stéphanie Guillon
is from La Rochelle on the Atlantic coast and has never been to
the U.S. before. She has a Master’s degree in Fle (French
as a
Foreign Language) and years of teaching experience with different
age
groups. |

Mademoiselle Elsa Ouvrard has a
Master’s in English and a Master’s in Fle. She’s
not new to the U.S. and has taught at the Valley View Middle School
French Immersion Program in Edina, MN, as well as Appalachian State
University in Boone, NC.
Elsa has also worked for Continental Book Co. in Denver where she
was in charge of book fairs for Le Lycée Français
in New York and Washington, D.C.
In France, she has worked with elementary school aged children in
Angers, where she is from. |

Madame Isabelle Magidson is native
of the Central Western part of France called Poitou. She is married
to an American, and a mother of two. She has the equivalent of a
BA in English Literature and Civilization Studies, and has been
teaching French as a foreign language since she moved to the US
in 2003.
She is also a singer and guitarist, and very much enjoys using her
talent as a teaching method.

Madame Emberly Nesbitt is a native of eastern
Pennsylvania. She has a B.A. in French from Colby College and lived
in France for two years. One of these years she studied at the Université
de Caen, and the other year she spent as a Fulbright fellow in the
town of Chambéry. Emberly also has a Master of Fine Arts
degree in creative writing from Cornell University, where she taught
creative and expository writing for three years. She is married,
lives in Berkeley, and spends her time outside of French For Fun
reading, writing stories, and working on a novel.
