Vive les vacances at French For Fun! We offer summer camps with new fun themes each year! If you plan to enroll your child for fall, participating in our summer camps is a good way to introduce new students to our center and meet our teachers.
Morning Camp June 22 - August 26 / 3-Day Program, 9 am - 12 pm
This camp is for children age 2+ to 6 years old. Our morning summer camp is always very popular. The children keep up with their French and their routine at French For Fun, while acquiring new vocabulary in a total immersion fashion. Various fun and educational activities are offered weekly, such as games, arts & crafts, songs, etc. ALL IN FRENCH OF COURSE.
 This summer will be hot and exotic! The children will discover French islands (les îles), such as Tahiti, Guadeloupe, Martinique and will be exposed to new related vocabulary and activities (coquillages, danse tahitienne, fruits exotiques, etc). It is sure to be FUN!
Pre-requisites to enroll: Continuing Students or New Students pre-registered in our morning immersion program for Fall 2010 or New students with previous French experience.
Parents provide a lunchbox with a healthy snack served mid-morning.
For our younger afternoon immersion students
we offer a Reading Workshop this summer.
July 12-15 - July 19-22 - 4-Day Program
Beginner reader (K-1st-2nd grade): 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
The children will be improving their reading skills in French via various fun and educational
activities. This workshop is conducted in a total immersion fashion.
Pre-requisites: For our continuing afternoon immersion students. New students with previous French experience welcome. This reading workshop is designated for children already comfortable in French and who are able to communicate with ease and have a good understanding of the French language.
